FAQ

But we are akward in pictures.

Me too!
Having photographs taken can be an uncomfortable experience if you expect to be posed the entire time. When planning your session, do some inspiration boards. Find ideas that you love and think fit you.
Do activities or bring in portions of your life that make you comfortable.
Ride horses, bring them.
Work cows, let's go check them.

How should we dress for our family session?

Wear whatever makes you feel the best. Fashion changes quickly and its hard to keep up with all of the trends. So wear and dress how you want and what makes you feel confident and comfortable. Keep in mind color schemes for location and the time of the year.
Need more help? Just shoot me a message while in the planning stage and I'll help you with ideas.

What’s the best time for photographs?

Think about what you want in your portraits. Want wildflowers, keep in mind when they are in bloom. Want fall colors, keep that in mind when scheduling. How about gold hour or sunset?
Just remember "High Noon" was best in the old west, not for your portraits.
